Meet Trudie - A True Portland Native
Trudie was born and raised in Portland and is an Oregonian through and though. She has seen tremendous growth and change throughout her years here, and what is always evident is her love and passion for this very diverse city. Where else can you live and drive 11/2 hours to the east to get to Olympic quality mountain, river and extreme sports conditions and environments then turn in the opposite direction drive west from Portland another 11/2 hours to some of natures most spectacular coast line along the Pacific Ocean.
True high desert awaits you in Central Oregon about 3 hours away, and don`t miss the incomparable Columbia River Gorge with its stunning views and formations that took centuries to perfect. You may also want to throw in the incredible vistas and views while hiking, mountain climbing, camping, fishing, rafting, surfing, sailing, wind surfing, biking, or just plain sitting out in your favorite spot just inhaling life, to place in your own memory book.
Trudie is a full time real estate professional. She is a client oriented agent, putting her client's desires, needs and wishes first. Trudie serves each client with integrity, loyalty and a commitment to do absolutely the best she can for each and every client. Her approach to real estate is from a service philosophy and a large part of her service is geared toward education. Education comes in various forms. Trudie educates her clients about the varied details of real estate and for each person that process can be quite different. Every client has a different level of knowledge about real estate, so Trudie's time with each client is shaped to fit that client's particular needs. She counts among her clients everyone from first time home buyers to people who are selling their large family home and moving to something smaller and more manageable as we get older and priorities change. But always first and foremost is the client's time frame for the buying/selling process that you embark on together.
The process of buying and selling real estate can become a very complex and confusing maze for many people. Trudie takes a very pro-active approach to constantly learning the latest information which concerns the real estate industry. Since she started in real estate, she has earned her credentials in the following: GRI (Graduate Realtor's Institute), SRES (Senior's Real Estate Specialist), CHS (Certified New Home Specialist), Relocation Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and has been a Real Estate Broker for the past seven years. Besides going to school to obtain these professional standards, Trudie takes classes on all the various environmental, legal, and ever changing forms that are a trademark of the real estate profession.
Clients Who Are 'Down-sizing'
Although Trudie helps people in all stages of home buying and selling, a special interest of hers is working with people who are retiring or facing the "empty-nest" syndrome. She has extra knowledge about those retired atmosphere communities, along with single level homes that have master bedrooms on the main level. Trudie says "as we age gracefully, we may want homes with fewer or no stairs, and I make a point of staying abreast of those properties that fit into those categories". Retiree's might also be interested in properties in and around the Vancouver, Washington area just across the Columbia River that divides Oregon and Washington and just north of Portland. Trudie has developed wonderful working relationships with a handful of Realtors in Vancouver and personally talks with each one before referring her clients to an agent to make absolute sure that this agent and Trudie's client are a great fit and that the process will go as smooth in Vancouver as it will in Portland.
